You'll be fine if you still use a bulb that lights up amber. Practically every member on TGC has cleared corners; if there was a problem, you'd hear a lot more complaining.

You need to have an Amber bulb if you remove the reflector.

depends on your state, tech u got to have a orange reflector in their, but a cop wont pull u over if u have orange bulbs inside. But the dmv might bitch or might not

Stock bulbs are amber, but you'll probably think they're an eyesore. I have SilverStar bulbs from Sylvania and they are almost too bright (they light up amber, but appear bluish).

APC amber chrome bulbs are my personal choice. they light up amber but look chrome when not turned on.

did my inspection yesterday and passed with the clear corners..I have the amber bulbs inside

The lens is not what makes it illegal, it the color of the bulb. It can be clearer then clear and it wont matter, the bulb has to be amber though. Even though on my daily Galant, I've had a clear bulb since 2000 an never had issues but depends were you live and what cop is around too.

These are little things that don't matter, the reason people get pulled over for them is because the officer uses it as probable cause to find other stuff wrong with your ride. I used that and other things when I was a Deputy Sheriff. You cant just pull someone over just because and if a car went by and had a bunch a guys in it that just didn't look right or looked like they were up to no good, I would just find an excuse to pull them over, like a light bulb color, reflector, whatever and 90% of the time I would find drugs, guns and othe illegal stuff. That is not against the law, so like I said, depends where you live and what cop pulls you over.

yeah, the DMV in Rahway allows clears corners, did mine in July
