If you can fit a strutbar back there, make sure you let me and the rest of us know because it would be unique.

no point putting a rear upper strut bar when u have a solid rear deck

Not to mention that if you wanted to install one anyway, you would have some serious cutting of the sheet metal behind the rear seat to do.

..and it would nt even be worth it when you can just add rear sway bar and be good to go.

Which would completely defeat the purpose of having the strut bar (structural rigity between the two strut towers)

Hey, come on guys. Take it easy on the guy. When I first started modding cars and got on this site that was one of the first questions i asked too. But shortly after I learned that not all cars have the option to have it and in some cases, like ours, dont need if you have a rear sway bar. So take it easy on the guy, maybe he didnt know.

Exactly. Take a look at that picture then rip out your backs seats and take a look at your rear shock mounts

you should buy it because it has to fit if somebody is selling it on ebay... i've found that ebay sellers know way more about our cars than we do.

These people on eBay don't know crap. This guy wont have that post much longer after my mail to him. He either doesn't know that it wont fit or he does but decides to rip people off anyway. You can't believe everyone on Ebay people. People like him also told me that the vR4 strut bar fits the 8G, unfortunately it only fits the 7G. Our front towers are too far apart. The rear deck is reinforced and boxed in, there is no need for a strut bar. If it was empty between towers like an eclipse rear deck, then yes you would need one. The rear deck acts as a strut bar. We need to make some of this things stickies.

Waste of money.

Buy a ADDCO rear sway bar, and a D3 CSK-C chassis brace kit (if you can find one) and forget about this supposed rear strut brace.

Those ebay bars are garbage anyways, whether they fit or not. Also, if our cars needed reinforcement on the rear suspension, wouldn't the bigger name companies like Megan or DC already be making them.

At least I learn stuff on here. All I learn from GF is just hardcore technical stuff from Jason, TJ, and a few others that also post on TGC. Other than that it just same ol' recycled stuff that I learned from here.

And keep us informed on the rear upper strut bar.
