Well, I took my G to Germany when I got stationed there, so I put a hell of alot of miles on it then. When I bought it in 03, it only had 37000. The only thing is that right now the car needs the valve gasket replaced and a full tune up. And all of the belts probably need to be replaced since the car has not been in the shop since i have owned it.:( I really need to take better care of the thing. And I would really like to get rid of the 2.4 and get the mighty V6.

Guess I'm still the old man of this group. I have 348K on my '99 ES V6. She's has the infamous lifter tick 1st thing in the morning, but after she warms up, she purrs like a kitten. She'll continue to be my DD, even after I get a newer ride.

Hey 864Galant, are you in SC too? I see the state outline in your sig.

We do use a lot of gas. Why do you think Americans are considered so wasteful. Plus our Gas prices are much lower than European Prices.

Supply and demand says that if we have a higher supply (lower price) we will consume more.

I'm already at 80K on 2000 Galant. All I've changed so far are fluids, tires, brakepads. BTW, damn brakepads.... first ones lasted like 40K miles ... 2nd only like 20K, third another 20K ..

I only hope mine makes it that far.

I've got 110k on my '99 ES V6 which I bought brand new in May 2000. After my first winter with it, I garaged it and drove my beater all other winters until this winter because my beater died.

To calculate Kilometers to miles times Kilometers by 0.628

Ex 190,000 Kilometers X 0.628=119320Miles

I'm happy to hear people are getting good miles out of their Galants. I bought mine as a daily driver with 35,200miles on it in December. I hope it will make it to the 100,000miles mark with minimal problems.

OMG!! pics of your Cluster please!!!??!!

LOL!!! Okay Kalamidad, I'll try to take an updated pic of my cluster when I have me next day off. But everyone in the ATL can verify my mileage. ( By the way, I put all these miles on her myself. Bought her new off the lot in August of 1999) But as long as you do the regular maintainence, your G is still just a baby at 100K. By the way Kalamidad, I've liked your car for along time now. Matter of fact if I ever install the parts I have, we'll almost have twins...or at least close cousins. Do you have any recent photos of your whip?
