Ok, So after reading pages and pages of threads and Posts, I began the
prosess of customizing my 8g.
I've already put my 17" long before dicovering this site, but i still need
to lower my ride...I'm contemplating between KYB GR-2 + some lowering
springs or Megan Coilovers (would need to save up for that though)
Received my Injen Short Ram today....but they screewed up on the model #
and sent me the one for Acura :( so they'll resend the correct one,
hopefully get it by Friday. Also waiting on my HID 8000K :D cant wait
Today started working on the door panels, putting on a black velvet fabric
Comments and Suggestion are welcome overall

Looks good. Clean.
You might see some threads on here about suspension, but if you plan to go lowered, you should go with the KYB AGX,...the GR2's are basically a stock replacement. Either will work though. Check out the threads, I found them helpful as I am looking for a new suspension setup.

I was bout to say.....LoL. Good work so far. Good luck putting them back in. I dont think youll run into major issues though, velvet should be pretty thin. I used dark red vinyl on mines. And it was a pain in the ass to get them to fit properly because the material was so thick.

i want to try something like that, or i might so the other route and paint the plastic part of the door instead, or both idn but i have no clue how to start by taking that part apart to put new fabric on it, plus what kind to use so it wont tear or anything but it looks good

I thought of painting the other part too, but i'm keeping black on grey theme so i decided to replace the fabric, cause i had some cig burns on the front panels from previous owner. as far as taking those things apart, it is a pain, but once you get the first one off, the rest will come easier, i followed the DYI Tutorial in How To's but when i was putting them back together i used screws, if you look at that tutorial you'll know what i mean

I would want to see those, cause the last time i got the seat covers, they were the biggest waste of money i've had so far, even though they weren't that expensive

Ok. today i had some time to work on my ride ... installed my Injen Intake,
I felt the difference right away, also was a little concerned about a
quiet whistling type of sound not sure if that's normal.
And with the intake came less MPG, but i guess those come hand in hand here are some pics.
Before...

Also cleared my corners and rewired the sound system...still get static sometimes have no idea what it is.
Now I'm finishing up front door panels will post pics once i install them.
