v6 catback

i have been searching ebay and the likes for a catback system for my 8g 2.5 v6 non turbo. and i am at a loss.
i can find plenty for the 4cyl 8g but none for the 6cyl.
so my question is... will a 4cyl catback system fit a 2.5 v6??
sorry if this has been asked before or is a dumb question but i cant find an answer by searching on here.

hmm not sure of the world spec? but it does work with the usdm v6...although the piping diameter is the same as stock really so what most of us do here is get a c/b from a v6 eclipse...its a bit shorter but we just extend it a bit and it works fine....although like i said you would have to check on that for your model

The routing for the USDM and worldspec NA galants might be the same, but I don't know it for sure (You can see mine in my www link below for comparison) Might be different with the hangers and in length only. Did you ever check into 7G or 2G catbacks?

thanks for the info and links guys.
i have found a manufacturer here in the uk that does an ashley GROUP N competition catback for the galant but in the description it says for galant and evo 4,5,6.
i know quite a lot of the parts on my uk g are shared with the uk evo around the same year, ie brake pads, rotors, gear selector assembly etc etc.
so i have contacted them and am awaiting a response.

trouble is group n exhausts are extremely loud and im not sure if i could put up with it daily driving.
my friend had a group n on his evo 1 and it used to set off car alarms when he drove up my road.

Well, you can always quite done an exhaust with resonators or/and using a muffler that accepts a silencer. But at that point, you might as well have one built from scratch.
