Hey when my car is warmed up and i am on the road with my heat on or defroster, whenever i come to a stop, my RPMs drop very low to almost the 0 and stays there until i turn of the heat etc. Feels like its gonna stall. Then it goes to normal. It is fine when i am driving, only when i come to a stop it drops?? Any ideas. I tried to tighten my throttle...but does the same. My car idles like a little under 900 in park and 700-750 in drive. Please any help would be apreciated.

my car used to do that. i'd shhift into neutral to ge the rpm's up there and even sometimes rev in neutral to keep it steady. i sould get the shop to tell me what they did to fix it...

I had the same problem with my 6G. Believe it or not it was a faulty fuel filter.

i really hope its the fuel filter. that shouldn't be too hard to change. but that wasn't the case with me. my car was at the dealer for half a week to diagnose and fix. luckily, i didn't have to pay the bill, it was cvaused by my accident

Ok cool, thank for the info. Well my car is going to the shop tommorrow so they can finally fix my speedo (my car has been stuck at 78,000 for like 3 weeks now, opps https://www.thegalantcenter.org/style_emoticons/default/laugh.gif ) So maybe they can have a look.

have you checked your battery or connections to it? When i put my new filter on i had to disconnect battery connections and i didnt put them on tight enough and the radio would shut off when i turned heater on and the lights would always dim, till i connected them tighter.
not sure if thats it just putting in my 2 cents
thanks
sean
