For you guys who have done this yourself care to give me some information on how to do it?

If I have my own springs and struts, do I still need a spring compressor? Do I need any parts (washers, bump stops.....etc) from the stock suspension?

Thanks guys!!

a copy of the service manual will be very helpful. it gives you step by step removal and assembly instructions. plus you'll now the correct torque specs of the bolts.

if your new springs and struts came preassembled, then you won't need a spring compressor. Just remove the whole strut assembly and throw in your new one. Otherwise, yea, you'll need it.

it's a fairly easy weekend project to do. just takes a lot of time if you don't have air tools.

Yeah I have seen their TECH article about it but it is flawed......

I stated my question wrong......What I only meant to ask was, do I need the old parts from my stock suspension. Since that has been answered, it clears everything up.

EXCELLENT information. Any way this can be added to the FAQ/Tutorial/How-To section?

some one told me that you could just cut the springs, i haven't lowered my car yet, what are you feeling about it, can i just cut them and save myself the hassle and money?

DO NOT CUT THEM!! You will regret if you do. Each spring is meant for a specific compression ratio. I don't know how to explain it but just don't do it....
