The wheels arent too popular around here as you've read above but overall, including the rims, its a really good job. The rims DO flow with the rest of the car's features quite well to vouch for them.

$1500, HPD... that's w/ tires right? that means each of your wheels cost about $225, assumming you got good tires for $600. sorry to burst ur bubble but for my wheels/tires, that $1500 would have gotten me almost 2 wheels and no tires (actually my tires cost more than your wheels, each). save up and upgrade to something nice to match the rest of your car, which is done very well... then your ride will be top notch!

You can get some very nice packages for only $2000 though.

I do however agree with Reelax, wheels can make or break the car.

u guys missed the point (well some of u guys got it, haha). the rest of the car looks very nice, i jus pointed out that the wheels were holding it back... not to put anybody down, just it would be much NICER w/ the right wheels.

and for those of u that don't understand about getting NICE wheels, my current wheels were not even my first choice... i was gonna get REALLY exclusive wheels from japan or adonized HRE's which run amost twice as much. o and as for what i got, w/o even talking to each other about it, CALI got pretty much the exact wheels as me (his are SF-Challenge, which are the sister wheels to my SF-Winning) and we both somehow independently decided to import special colors from japan instead of buying the regular colors that are readily available here, within days of each other; obvioulsy we had the same idea and think very much alike. you might not get it, but the results of what we (and those like us) have done speak for themselves.

yup. not everyone will recognize the level of the rest of the parts on the car (how many non-galant enthusiasts will recognize the exclusivity of my kit?) but wheels are universaly recognized by tuners of all cars. a nice car can be ruined by a poor wheel choice.

I'm a fan of VOLK wheels and whatnot, but I only put minimal money into the show characteristics of my car. ROTA wheels are good quality and have a good finish far as I can tell. If you want a brand name or some kind of status symbol, go ahead and start saving $3000 for a set of tires/wheels. Otherwise, check these out.

thing is, if i could kit my car, with a price right around 2500 for everything. or i could afford to buy a set of wheels and tires for around 2500, but i couldnt do both, i would definitely go for the kit and a cheaper, decent set of wheels. maybe its just me, but i could do so much more with 5k than get a nice set of wheels. and not everyone who can afford a kit/bodywork/etc thinks 5k is change, they have to save up and be able to afford what they actually get done, and spending another 5k on wheels alone is just too much

there are many more, but any of these would do your car justice. u don't have get forged wheels (that's what makes them REALLY expensive). very good wheels can be had in the $2000 range.
