Random switches

I have two flip switches under my steering column slightly right/downward.
They dont seem to do anything( as far as i can tell ) but they do have wires connect to each of them that i can feel through the column.
I keep meaning to take pictures but i forget.
Any ideas?

do you have an alarm on the car and do you have a radio with a screen that plays dvd? if you have either of these one switch is a valet switch for the alarm and the other switch could be a video bypass switch for the radio so that you could view video while the car is in drive.....let us kno

did you buy it used?
they might have been valet switch, switch for foglights, or neons, etc..

Theres two.
Anyways i figured it belonged to an alarm at one time, or some sort of light.
No evidence of an alarm on the car besides the switch.
Its not really important, i just wanted some different answers.

And i bought it from a dealer ( used ) a couple months ago.
