i was thinking...when i'm getting close to getting my body kit and getting a paint job to get some body filler and fiberglass and remove the side trim from my doors and fill it in with that stuff.....

what yall think?

all up to u! personally, i let a body shop do that stuff, but if u wanna save money or because u like DIY (some people do), u can do that urself if u like. i actually like the door trim and kept it.

well did a quick photoshop on my car to see how it would look... maybe i will have them flushed if i ever get bored (i get bored too often):

look up jaydeeones car, he had the moldings removed...he had a thread so u can see how much work went into filling etc

Nah, Denver is right, I had them welded. They have to be. You need something for the fibgerglass to hold on to. Also if where those holes were gets hit or whatever, it will just go right in.

yeah i dunno. i didn't have them flushed when i had the kit put on for just that reason... didn;t want the car too smoothed out that it looked boring especially because the rest of my kit was molded to look very simple, not a lot of lines.
