I need to know before i make this purchase.

as far as i know you need to make sure the mounting lines up

for the I4 you can get CAI

for the V6 Short Ram

this is the mount on the V6 you need to line up

hope it helps

when it comes to intakes, the CAI from INJEN and AEM for the 3g v6 eclipse both fit on the 8G v6 galant. i have had both (1st gen INJEN CAI and current AEM CAS). actually i had the first CAI on a USDM 8G since i was the first to try it back in '00-'01?

Good Lord you're an old fart......

Reelax is right. I've had the Injen 1st and 2nd Generation and the AEM. I currently have the Falken CAI on my car (best one yet). You won't have any fitment issues at all.
