They're OEM replacements, nothing more.

if you plan on dropping it just go with kyb's they're proven to handle drops and arent very expensive

^^yep, I would get KYB GR-2's. They are about the same price and have been proven to perform well on our platform, even on a mild drop.

i have been rolling kyb gr2s with the green tein springs for a bit more than a year now and now my car feels pretty loose... i remember when they were installed it was very tight and stiff.

but maybe its just because i live in chicago where our roads are very mixed... and brutal potholes in the winter/spring

i think i might go with agx's next because i thought the opinion on here was that the agx lasts longer

Yeah I believe the gr2 is made for stock heights and the agxs will last longer on a drop.

just know that if u are planning on dropping more than 2", even AGX will not cut it... at that point ur looking at fully matched coilovers (TEIN, JIC, etc.). it even voids AGX's warranty if u drop more than a certain height (i think it's 1.5"). dropping over 2" requires short body dampers and both GR2 and AGX are stock length.

i guess the best thing to do then is learn to change them myself so i can save the shop labor charge and just replace my GR2s every year and half... im not willing to spend another grand on coilovers.
