integra mugen lip...lower than sides?

I was thinking about getting the mugen lip that some of the members here have on their cars but had a few questions. Im not planning on putting on side skirts or a rear bumper lip, how much lower does the lip make the front bumper look? Does it still look reasonably flush with the stock sides and rear?

Also, most of the pictures I have seen of the install have that bar running across the front opening cut off..anyone have pics or experience of a bumper with the bar still there and the lip installed? Just trying to see if it would look gawdy or not.

1 1/2 inch lower with mugen lip. 3 3/4 inch for mugen half bumper.

if you just want the lip you don't need to cut or remove your crash bar but for JDM bumpers and body kit like cyber 1 and cyber 2 front bumper you need to cut, remove or custom made the crach bar.

he's not talking about the crash bar, he's talking about the bar going straight across in the lower grill

you should cut the bar out, nobody likes it... or at least cut out the pieces that go vertically.

what year is your car?
are you refering the the bar in the bottom vent of the bumper? People just take that off because they like how the bumper looks without it better.

Just a front lip looks fine. You don't absolutely have to get the sides and rear.

Thanks for all the input guys...still trying to decide if it looks too low in comparison to the rest of the body or not.
