well i went to see the canon G9 again today, and i bought it. Paid $449.00 with 2 year ADH warranty at best but and a bag to carry it in. I got home put the clear plastic cover over the screen and took it outside for few shots. Im still new to ISO and all that stuff i have no idea what it is, im guessing its lighting brightness. Well so far i like the camera alot still going to take some time to learn all the features which i have no idea about like manual focus. Now question if i wanted to take pics of say an grasshopper and get a better view what type of lenses what i purchase? or am i getting too much into a SLR? But for the money im very happy. For $200 more I could of got the XTI but i think for me personally this is a good beginner camera. Heres some shots, all comments are welcomed

try lowering the ISO, your pics are a bit grainy, but nice pick up
