i found this sway bar on andy's just wondering if it would fit on a v6. If not cool if so it would be a tight deal and by a good company, any ideas? Also its for an eclipse so im hopping it will cross over

thats a strut bar, not a sway bar.
and the best strut bar for the price would be the eclipse's oem.

for performance then go with DC SPORT its a solid one piece other ones that has moving parts like Freedom design and the megan dont do much for performance

yea there are to many joints on that strut bar you are better off going with something solid the megan one also has a lot of flex in the bar itself, its more for looks then anything...like said for the money the 3g oem bar is your best bet it can be had for about $30, otherwise the dc and if you can find the rre one would be the other best choices

i dont mean to kinda steal this thread but i was wondering how much of a difference would you feel by adding the 3g oem eclipse strut bar. ive never had a chance to experience the difference of adding a strut bar to any car. :( My dad just bought a type s 03 TL and it came with a strut bar and probably some other stuff suspension wise, but it has a pretty tight ride

it will not make a world of a difference, but will hold your car together more.

i noticed a good deal of difference when i added my strut bar to my car, especially on 90+ degree turns and/or at higher speed turns

if you are looking for something to improve handling, a thicker sway bar makes a world of a difference. addco comes to mind since they make readily available rear sway bars for the 8g galant.

strut bars, mainly for looks. i've had my non-adjustable strut bar on and off and really haven't noticed much a difference. it looks pretty though so i keep it on.
