VSS/ Speed wire location

I have a 06 galant and am going to install a nav unit into my indash system. It is asking for to hook up the VSS/ speed senor wire. Where is this wire located. It also warns not to splice the cable.....should i avoid splicing it, or is that just them trying to protect themselves?

look for an electrical diagram, not sure where it is on the 9g but on the 8 it is actually on the radio harness

i have looked for a wiring diagram for the 9g and cant find it at all.

where and what wire is the vss for 8g? thanks!

for the 8g it is the yellow/ black wire. when you have your radio wire harness exposed, i know you can get it from the branch where the grouping of wires is before it splits off to the radio harness itself... i

ts been a while since i did it. in fact it may even go to the radio harness itself...if someone else wants to confirn that? but if not it is definately accessable by the group of wire i stated already

It is a green/yellow wire at the PCM in a black 23 pin plug behind the drivers headlight.
