You MiGht Be aBle tO reNt oNe FroM AuTo ZoNe? They ask for like a 100$ collateral that is returned to you when you return the tool. I rented a tool to change out the ball joints on my pop's truck and that's what they asked for as collateral. Not sure if they rent out impact guns but its worth a try.

a torch is literally 10 bucks with fuel.

just go to lowes or home depot. and pick up a propane torch.

heat the nut till its glowing red. tap it with a hammer....

wait a couple minutes, then take to off with a ratchet.

now if there is a LOT of oxidation fucking up the threads on the bolt. then take a wire brush to them to clean the rust off before you jamb the nut into the rusted threads.

But i assure you, after its been torched, it wil come right off.

With that said. I highly doubt this will be the last time you'll need a torch.

the guy at an exhaust shop got it for me, he accidently broke the bolt on the rear section, and he got off the other two after the cat. all he used was a breaker bar, but he had a lift, and only charged me $5. same price as a torch probably would have been if not more

Glad you got it done.

Ive been here for a while bro and I know you work on your car a lot. That $10 or $20 torch should be a part of all the tools you have. Like the post above. Sooner or later (if you continue to work on your G) you'll need it and it will pay itself off.

just a suggestion :)
