have you still got a standard jap battery? havnt you had problems with it? dull headlights, full beam not to great? I had the car about 1.5 months, and everything kept dying, flat battery like 3 times.. ended up going to halfords, and getting nice powerfulll one.. now fullbeam is awesome, plus it starts first click...

I've got a 1990 Galant hatchback GTi 4WD 4WS [UK spec].

As I understand it, they were a kind of watered-down non-turbo version of the VR-4, altho they're still pretty awesome to drive :twisted:

it [mine] looks externally like all the pictures of the US VR-4s I've seen, except without the decals on the rear doors and with a few obvious badging differences. If u want some pictures, let me know & I can take some and send you them.

The last Galant GTI availible in Europe was the 6G 2.0-16V , it was availible in 4 door or 5 door (Coupe) models , and with or without 4WD-4WS. It was an awesome car in its day , my dealer still has a quite nice 91 H reg burgundy 4 door 4WD/S kicking around with 16 in aftermarket alloys on it , they used it as a course car in the recent 'Jim Clark Rally' , along with an Evo 5 an a RWD Lancer 2000 Turbo!

Where are you from? I´m from germany. I drive a Galant E 39 (dynamic 4). That´s the name of it in germany. The VR4 galant have 220 - 330 hp and an other body kit. There are perhaps 20 or 30 VR4 in germany. It was 1988 - 1992 the rallyecar No. 1 from Mitsubishi!

My galant have 144 hp , 4WS, 4WD, 4ABS, 4 IS ....

Look at: www.mitsubishiclubbayern.de -> galerie -> "Mitgliedergalerie" -> the last galant! A white car!

It looks like the VR4 but has a none turbo 6a12 engine.

Hey Mitsulangi... I saw your car on the forum you guys have in Germani... somethnig like www.carconcepts.de, right?

Tell me, Are there really 20 or 30 VR-4 Galants in Europe? :shock: I didn't know that. Were the imported from USA or what?

Have you any info or links to them?

Heres a UK spec 6G gti-16V 2.0 Galant with 4WD and 4WS. (sorry about the quality of the pics but the car is round the back of my dealers lot and is dirty and sh!tty!)
