Chrome fender trim on a Galant?

Anyone ever put fender trim on a Galant? I'm just curious as to how it would look.

Yeah Im not a fan of chrome trim on fenders, doors, handles, anything. Especially on a car. Theres just enough chrome on 8gs under the windows. Leave that chrome fender molding for pickups.

Yeah, I wasn't planning to put the wheel trim. I wonder how a 100 percent chrome 8G would look? I remember those Arab guys who had a benz did up like that.

Leave that chrome fender trim for the old Buicks and such. Now, if you were to paint it to match the car, it might look kind of cool.

I'm with him. I actually thought about doing the paint-to-match fender trim at one time, casue I've seen some G's around here with them at them look like they fit pretty good. That way you could have an effect close to JDM fender flares without shelling out all the dough to get them from over seas. I'd just wonder how well you could get paint to stick to that shiny metal.

Theres a black 8G around where i live that has those big chrome fender flares, and some murals on the decklid, and a big park bench on it. I dont think the chrome trim looks to great on it..... among other things.

But dont let what other people think change your plans.
