Vaccum problem need help or advice or expertise

My intake is really hissing LOUDLY. Whats the problem? You know the valve cover hose that connects to the air intake is suppose to suck air while the intake blows air? Ive found out thats the valve cover side is BLOWING AIR! I thinks its some kind of vaccum problem. And i think its messing up my take offs. Re: High RPM's Low speed. on this forum.

Do you have an aftermarket filter? Cause they hiss and make other weird noises at idle.

And as far as the PCV system goes some people claim that the side that goes to air tube does blow and they put a PoorMans catchcan on that line, (a clear $3 fuel filter inline)...however I put a filter on that line, and on the PCV line and as I expected only the PCV side filled up with oil. If you remove the line from the valvecover that goes to airtube your probably changing the pressure under the cover and thats why its blowing..

Just a guess though..
