likely not..

wait a second...
your 6a12 has a w5m33!? that's the EVO/DSM tranny
...how in the hell!?

anyways.. the I've never heard of anyone using a GTO tranny on a DSM here in the states, so i'd say "no"

deductions:

4g63 uses w5m33
6a12 uses w5m33

must share same mating dimensions.

state-side DSM's have 4g63's, and I've never heard of anyone using a 3000GT transmission in a DSM

The VR4 is the same running gear as the early Evo's (1 and 2)!
Most of the parts i get for mine are through an Evo specialist, alot cheeper than main dealer parts! The trany on these are surposed to take about 450BHP max. I know first hand that the transfer boxes don't! A seriously expencive weak link!

w5m33..how i miss that tranny hehehe!

Im running a FWD on my 6a12TT since the cost of maintaining AWD would kill me! hehehehe!

Although a good project i would like to do is to replace all the w5m33 guts to my FWD tranny. 1st to 5th gear only, VCU and AWD components not included, of course. U think its possible? https://www.thegalantcenter.org/style_emoticons/default/smile.gif I miss those close gear ratios!

My tranny hasn't got that good a close ratio https://www.thegalantcenter.org/style_emoticons/default/sad.gif 1st and 2nd are ok but it really hangs on in the rest of them! I've seen 154mph on the clock but don't know how acurate that is (surprised hell out of the Porsche I was chasing!!).
Don't know anything about the front wheel drive casing and if the 4wd bits will go in! :?
