Installing new CD Player/Removing Old..

Just got my 2001 ES the other day https://www.thegalantcenter.org/style_emoticons/default/biggrin.gif very happy with it. First mod ive decided to do is put in my old CD player... I got the dash off, and got the stock cd player out. Now, I have the "plug" or connector that went into the stock radio left. What I wanted to know is if most of you just cut the end of the connecter to get the the bare wires - or is there an adapter you can get for it? Thanks

Get the adapter. Any car stereo shop should have it for 7-15 dollars. It's MUCH easier to use the adapter than cutting wires. https://www.thegalantcenter.org/style_emoticons/default/biggrin.gif

Thanks - yeah Its a royal pain when you have to cut the wires... i did that with my first car, and now im putting the stock radio back in. real pain.
