EGR visor help

sounds pretty stupid but yeah i having a hard time puttin this on..for one i went to lowes,osh and home depot and when i told them i need a 3m double sided tape i got the WTF face..so then try to stick it on and but in the little bolts but it is not stayin put...can someone help...thanks yall

hmm. you are going to need 2 sided tape that runs almost the length of the top of the visor and you are going to need 2 sided tape on back of the mounts that go on the window on either side

go to a local parts store and they should have the tape you need. usually they are helpful too, when i needed double sided tape to reapply a badge, i went into a local shop and instead of selling me a roll, the guy cut a piece big enough for what i needed it for and let me go on my way without paying for anything

yeah i did all that..its sticks on but if i let go of the right side..the left side bolts just break off and it crashes down and i ahve to start over..i know patience is a key but damn i been at this since 9 lol..

Did you get this thing used or what? If it was new, it should come with it's own double sided tape. You should get some adhesive promoter too... either liquid in a bottle or the little wipes.

yeah it was used..imm go to the parts store today see what they got..i think imma get some adhesive promoter..thanks alot for your help guys

wipe the area with alcohol or acetone.

try reversing the two tabs that go on the sides. you may have them on backwards or wrong side facing in. i had that same issue when i first installed it, and try having someone help you with it. i find it helps to have an extra hand when trying to mount it flush on both sides. use 3m double sided tape.
