hi i have a 2003 galant my engine is lock i am plaining to change the block. can any one tell me what i need to get and do???

Can you turn it with a ratchet or breaker bar?

the engine will not rotate the car ran hot and shut off and would not start again

What kind of insurance covers overheating the engine and seizing it? I'm not even sure an extended warranty would cover that.

To the OP. Look for a used engine and drop it in. I did the same with my 2000 when I spun a bearing. Either way, your head is surely warped at a minimum. There's no telling what else is wrong. How did it overheat enough to seize it?

i would first find out what caused the problem initially. tear down what u have and see what the issue is.

or u could just scrap everything, buy a whole new complete engine, and just hope that u fixed all the issues.

get a used engine from a junkyard cheap and with a warranty , and a second one too and build it up on the side
