arriving from the dealer, on a nice sunny SoCal winter. December of 02. 2003 Galant V6 GTZ rims... if she would have only know what was to become of her.

stock stereo system was replaced. Alpine mp3 HU, JL 6 1/2s on front doors, JL tweets, JL 6x9s in rear deck, JL 300/4 powering all speakers. no subs just yet till a later on. Bostons 12s were powered by a cheap kenwood amp. the beginning of the SPL madness...

after a few months at eRacings shop, G came home with stock unpainted front since mine was just for the test front. also testing 99 chrome heads with clear corners. Didn't like them so...
http://www.sanctumrenderings.com/timeline/15.JPG
I cleared mine
http://www.sanctumrenderings.com/timeline/16.JPG
G went back to eracings then cameback with JDM cyber front. held by zip ties 8)
http://www.sanctumrenderings.com/timeline/17.JPG
cameback again from eracings shop. since urethane front was never gonna see the light of production, they gave me a full kit all around. traded MoChanges(first guy with complete JDM frontend conversion) my stock hood for his cf evo but you can see it was painted to match his G's color. i didn't mind cheap and no shipping costs.
http://www.sanctumrenderings.com/timeline/18.JPG
front, sides and rear. eracings USDM version of the kit. I guess at the time nobody knew that there was a USDM version and people were moding the JDM to fit better.

testing the idea of dual halo heads. as pointed by reelax i think, it wouldn't be safe driving around at night with fog lamps as headlamps so i never really did it. another fellow member of the old GF copied me and drove around with them...

http://www.sanctumrenderings.com/timeline/42.JPG
they didn't work out either as they were cheap as heads and projector wasnt any better than the hella fogs. should have followed astig's tutorial.

molded and sporting 18" wheels that i bought from Cali
http://www.sanctumrenderings.com/timeline/54.JPG
aah yes, can't forget about the time i found on the side of the road a front bumper in two pieces. amazingly enough older honda preludes kinda seemed to fit almost the 8g...
http://www.sanctumrenderings.com/timeline/55.JPG
fiberglassed
http://www.sanctumrenderings.com/timeline/56.JPG
bondo'ed... btw it was a knock off of the black widow kit from ground designs 2000
http://www.sanctumrenderings.com/timeline/57.JPG
tragedy struck one night in january. during that month it rained like crazy. water wasn't that high when i tried going across, but my CAI choked the engine and made the g stop half way across the puddle. it was sad but i got to see the water go higher and higher and higher my 18's were covered in water by the time the towtruck came. me and other people that were also stuck were gonna try to push the cars out of the water but police didnt let us...
http://www.sanctumrenderings.com/timeline/58.JPG
insurance covered the damages. total bill came to 5,000 i think. a couple for the dealer cus they had to do minor things like flushing the oil a couple of times. fortunately water didnt get inside the engine. the rest of the expenses came from the audio shop. they had to replace my 2 months old flip out($1,600), 300/4 amp($400), 1 W7($700) and custom triple 12" enclosure
http://www.sanctumrenderings.com/timeline/59.JPG

http://www.sanctumrenderings.com/timeline/67.JPG
black window tint replaced the green, blue lights replaced the green lights all around. aluminum spoiler removed

No pics yet, but tragedy struck again. G was crash on my way to work one morning. Insurance was contemplating taking away the g to car heaven. last minute estimates and market value of galants in the area gave the g a 3rd chance. total bill this time was almost $9k...

http://www.sanctumrenderings.com/timeline/68.JPG
G comes home. Still rocking the cyber front, new heads and invader hood
http://www.sanctumrenderings.com/timeline/69.JPG

Cool to see all the changes your G went through over time.

Why do you say the biggest mistake was molding your rear bumper?

Hey doing well, still in LA, back in grad school (again) but in my last year.

Rolling around in my 94 Miata, which I originally bought as a track car but it's too much fun to leave in the garage.

Looks like everyone is rockin the JDM front ends now, pretty sweet. Has anyone gone rear wheel drive or AWD yet with an 8G?
