Replacement windshield...

Who has gotten a replacement windshield put in.....

What was the company and about how much did it cost to get it done?

I am looking at like $240 for the replacement from safelite and it says they only have the windshields with the blue shade at the top and the window is a green tint??

Have to get it done though for inspection, two big cracks at the base of it.

MY 02 had the windshield replaced before I bought it. Make sure and look at it because the aftermarket one I have is crap, it curves too much on the sides and when you look thru that part the image is distorted. The OE one is not like that.

safelite autoglass did mine... my insurance paid for it

Call around some local windshield replacement companies around your area. I have a crack on my windshield that I haven't fixed yet. I have called around and even Safelite and the average price is $200 to replace my windshield.

I would ask though what brand of glass they use for replacements. Other than the OEM windshield...PPG makes autoglass that has the same standards as OEM.

Safelite did mine the same day it cracked for $200.. They messed up my "inspection" sticker though..

Damn... safelite wanted $240 for mine and i woulda had to wait until friday, need to get inspection done today, so I called a local shop and they are doing it for $240 also... blue sun shade at the top.. i didn't ask if it was oem or whatever... but they state that its oem standard or better so we'll seee
