Hey guys I havent been on here for a while now, have sold my Galant that I had and went through bunch of curs realising that Mitsubishi is my car.

Here I am once again. I have purchased a 1996 Mitsi Legnum vr4 with a f$%%d engine and decided to have a project for myself replacing the engine. Luckely for me at the same time when i spotted the Legnum I came accross a 1999 vr4 engine with 75k on the clock that was pulled out of a crashed Tiptronic Vr4 Legnum whos owner got drunk over the weekend and decided to do some donuts and drifts in town and ended up smashing his whole legnum to pieces. Luckely for me engine did not suffer any damage what so ever. Good people from CLUBVR4 helpd me to replace the engine in exchange for the old one, and it took 3 weeks (curse the spark plug leads being broken).

Here is a link to the engine swap

http://www.clubvr4.com/forum/showthread.php?t=31830

Now that the engine is in alone with all the liquids being replaced, I am again one happy champ. As for mods, the car doesnt have that many, just a
-Custom 2.5" throughout exhaust
-APEXI AIR INTAKE
-Boost Gauge

And thats about it. Its a manual and a vr4 which i have been looking for for a very long time.Once my internet is going to get faster ill post some pix.

PS First mod on the way is a Battery to the trunk, and the question is whether I need to have the negative terminal for the battery run from the engine to the back alone with positive or can it go from battery to the body somewhere in the back of the car??

Thanx a bunch and let the mods begin.

i wouldnt say it went that well, took me 3 weeks for a swap what could have been done in 1 day, if i have changed the spark plug leads in time. Was going back and forth 40km out of town to Brad to see whats wrong with the car. But Glad its all over now and my Leggie is once again on the road.

Have some more pix, but will post once the internet speed is up to it lol.

Anyways Boys from CLUBVR4 helpd a looooooooooooooooot by taking the old engine out and fitting the new one in, after that it was pretty much up to me and Brad to get everething else put back together. All the wiers are 100% match with connections so the engine therefore was 100% fit without any mods.

Now im planning to relocate the battery to the boot, to make some way for the air box so that i can extend the air intake, anyone relocated the battery to the boot?? do i have to connetct negative terminal to the gearbox just like it is connected now or can i connect it somewhere in the boot to the body of the car??
