I just put it new rear 6x9 in the back of my car but I guess the magnet was too big and when I close my trunk the magnet gets hit by the two thin bars that hold the trunk up what can I do to make the 6x9 fit without getting hit by those bars and is there an easier way to take off the mat that covers the rear speakers?

install a spacer to lift the rear speakers up.

is there a way we could remove those bars and use the gas shocks I guess they are called to hold up the trunk lid so we don't have clearance issues with those bars?

You could take those torsion bars out and put your own shocks in there..

You have to custom fab the work.. I don't think redline makes trunk lifts for stock trunks.. I know they do for CF ones..

you can remove the bars like others have said
as far as a stock trunk, and CF trunk with the struts
I have them on my CF trunk as do others and Qnz has them on his stock trunk
you just need to order them for the trunk of an 02-07 lancer (http://www.redlinetuning.com/QL-MITSU-LANCER-TRUNK-0207.html) and specify that you need them for a stock trunk not a CF trunk. You can order from wesellcarparts the vendor on here or from redline direct
and you need to get intouch with one of us that has installed them to get the measurements of where the rivets need to be put in
