Don't let these guys flame you for asking questions. They're just haters.

Yes, you should get two of these breathers. One should go where your intake connects to the block. Use the other one to replace that crappy looking PCV valve . Your car will look COOL!!!

if you plan on ever goin turbocharged then yes its worth it... the reasn being, the breather filter will add a cyclone effect to the air getting sucked into your overhead cover.. mixxing the oil better and allowing the minerals of the oil to work to there full potential. the rubber hose.. well imagin blowing into a straw into a cup of oil.. all it will do is bubble which will cause gunk on your valves.. almost like the picture u see at shell gas station that promotes the shell v-power gas..
and if you have dual overhead poleroid cameras then i buy at least 4 of these filters because you will go through them left and right

ZigenScarface
07-07-2008, 11:15 PM
u can take a piece of the rubber hose and melt it together.. just a small piece.. oteher then that any end fitting from home deot with the right diameter should work..

adis99
07-07-2008, 11:19 PM
isnt the intake gonna suck that melted ruber in??

ZigenScarface
07-07-2008, 11:21 PM

adis99
07-07-2008, 11:23 PM

ZigenScarface
07-07-2008, 11:25 PM

im pretture sure u can do this... take some electrical tape and wrap it very tightly around the plug on the intake pipe and then put a small piece of the rubber hosee over it so it doesent come off.. u can try that but just for something really temp..

If you really want to add a breather element and need to plug the other end to the intake tube, go to your local Pep boys or auto zone and buy a box of assorted vacuume caps.

Personally I would leave it the way it is...unless you are doing it for the "bling" factory then its your call.

and how do i put the breather on the hose, the hose is much bigger than the opening in breather, do i need to buy a new hose or what??

ZigenScarface
07-12-2008, 10:08 PM
take the hose off n put the breather where the hose was

adis99
07-12-2008, 10:27 PM
so one more time
do i put breather on the engine directly on on the intake pipe?

boochieboy

put the breather right on the 90 degree elbow on the upper right hand side of the top of your valve cover, and put a vacuum line cap on the hole on your air intake (where the hose used to connect to)...job done.
