springs

for anyone that read my other posts, i am keeping my car https://www.thegalantcenter.org/style_emoticons/default/biggrin.gif i have decided that i have rims and i havent done lowering springs yet. the car looks like i am going off-roading. what springs should i go with??

I say go for whatever you can afford and the type of drop you want.

You have several choices now:

1) Eibach
2) H&R
3) Progress
4) Intrax
5) Suspension Tech
6) Tein

and at least 2 more that I can't think of right now

You also have about 3 choices of coil overs.

Look through the Performance modifications and Customizing your 8G for feedback on these parts.

A lot of people have Eibach and Progress installed. If you are on a budget, Progress seems to be cheaper than Eibach. BGR and I have Progress springs and I haven't had a problem with mine, and to my knowledge, he hasn't either.

Go with Progress, can get them for around 150 and they give a very aggresive drop.

Hey if you want Eibach's, contact b19wheels He's a member here and of the GA chapter. He sells those springs for about $150 a set, and will ship them to you.

the drop on the INtrax are 1.8ff and 1.8rr. I paid $230 for them when they first came out.. I was like on the first people to have them on any galant in the US..

BGR, you have the V6 right, how much gap you have between the well and your tire with the Progress? I have Eibach, want lower, don't know if I'm goin with Progress or full coilovers yet.
