View Full Version : Grille Opinions (PICS)

Some of you may have seen in the B2N pics, my car with 2 different grilles. Both USDM JDM replicas, one black - one "chrome". I've still been trying to figure out which route to go with the chrome one, so I made a couple quick mock-ups of the route I'm planning on.
Let me know what you think.

(I already have the chrome emblem, which is pretty close in proportion to this one. Smaller than the one on the trunk)

I know some were in favor of the black grille, which I do like now..but it's too plain (and I don't plan on getting blacked out heads anytime soon). It also looks like nothing's there. That's why I like the graphite color, which also semi-matches my rims. I also like the chrome accent of the emblem (yes, I enjoy selective chrome lol) My rear emblem is chrome, same with letters on the sides, lip on rims, and exhaust.

Finally, here's an actually photo, (not PS'd). I made this for N30ACID, but put it on my car quickly to see how it would be.

Thanks for all the replies guys, I appreciate the opinions.
I think I'm going in the route of the 4th pic. Gunmetal/ Graphite with chrome emblem.
I'll show the finished product.

either picture #2 with a red mitsu emblem or #4. Since the red emblem is already painted over, I am leaning towards pic 4 :D

x2 but add like a chrome mesh grill behing so you dont see behind the grill

Well, I've been tinkering off and on and ended up with this. Metallic graphite finish W/ the emblem. I need to paint the radiator support soon, cus it keeps catching my eye. Other than that I think it looks alright.
