Here dude, pull those out and the plugs are down there. You will need an extension with socket on the other end to remove them.

It's USDM but stuff looks weird under there, things are moved around, air intake is diffrent, battery is behind headlight, brake fluid reservoir is on passanger side, power steering reservoir is moved....weird.

When you replace your spark plugs, replace them with NGK's...no other brand. If you buy your plugs from Mitsubishi they are pre gapped and all you have to do is replace them.

If you buy them from Pepboys, Autozone, or Advanced auto..you will have to make sure they are gapped correctly according to your owners manual or the catylist sticker on the underside of the hood. You will need a spark plug gap measurer which you can buy from the auto parts store for 50 cent or $1 and usually have them displayed when you check out.

If you replace ANY spark plug without checking the gap before you put it in, you're not being very bright. What's to say the monkey working at Mitsubishi wasn't having a bad day when he was assembling plugs and decided to change the gaps that day by 2 mm. You're taking a leap of faith, and a dumb one at that to assume Mitsubishi plugs are properly gapped every time. Buy a gap gauge and check every plug.

You make a valid point..but I have bought plugs from Mitsu and they are gapped spot on according the Mitsu specs. I also have worked for Toyota and GM and spark plugs sold at the dealers are spot on also...if anything a very tiny adjustment needed. A consumer is buying a part directly from the dealer/manufacturer and thus the part(s) are already at OEM specs unlike aftermarket standards.

Like I said, not arguing your point..but merely supporting mine own from experience. I should of been more detailed on my previous post, but yet...you should check the gap of your plugs before you install them, but buying directling from the dealer the specs will be either spot on or need very little adjustment to get to spec.

I always check everything I buy because I know Mitsubishi dealer wont up to it if something does happen to my car and most likely tell me if I checked them before I put them in. Besides, it only takes a few seconds to check the gap.
