Excel wheels expensive?? uhm no. the centercaps for my BBS wheels retailed for over 100 dollars a piece back when I needed them, and I needed 3 of them.

I get all my car stuff at cost, and my wheels (at cost) were more than that for two.

no offense to you but the other guy said they were expensive... EXEL is WHEELMAX's house brand. they are so far from the "expensive" side of the spectrum that i really couldn't tell if RAFALGTZ00 was serious or being sarcastic. quick rule of thumb, if the wheels cost just about the same as the tires, then they are not "expensive" wheels.

Getting this thread back on track, the rims looks nice, regardless of how much they cost.

I dont know why you guys go to these sites and buy these wheels, You can get a set of used Rays wheels, BBS for good deals if you guys look. Everyone on here seems to be obsessed with getting wheels new. Sometimes used wheels that are reconditioned look better than the original. Like Reelax and Pinoy said, those wheels are far from expensive. Real wheels like Volk, Work, SSR ie (rays branded wheels) have top quality construction. You wont get an ebay intake but will get cheap wheels. I dont get it. Anyways im happy you got wheels but if youre patient you couldve got away with getting some nice wheels for less than a grand used.

Maybe he likes those wheels regardless of the brand or price. If I see something I like regardless of what brand it is, I'm going to get it. Sometimes it seams like on this board we're in high school and need the name brand stuff. If he likes them he likes then who are we to say otherwise?

Amen. If you like it, that's all that matters...it's your car.....also,,,some people don't have a grand or more to spend on just wheels, which is why I'm still on steelies myself.

ive had bbs, enkei and tsw's and the best quality wheels out of the 3 of them were the cheapest of the three, the tsw's. ive had them for 4 years and the finish is still almost flawless. my bbs wheels were nice looking but the clear started to flake off after only one year. the emkie held up finish wise but couldnt take the punishment from the roads in Maine and the two fronts got warpped. so sometimes cheaper can be ok. ive gotten all my wheel and tire packages from discounttiredirect.com. they kick ass for real.
