Location: At the Hooters:sneaky: in Selma TX (10 min away from San Antonio Raceway track)~

Selma, Texas 78154

Event: It’s the ultimate day for Mitsubishi enthusiasts and owners. Show off your ride among the Mitsu Faithful. See the local competition owner’s and vehicles. Take a cruise with everyone to the local car meets in San Antonio, TX for some action! That’s only a small part of what to expect, Don’t miss out!

OK so change of plans, somehow Midnight Madness got changed to the 27th so instead of heading out to the track after Hooters, we're just going to cruise on up to the local San Antonio Meets

OK. So ive been having trouble filling in a time gap. We originally planned to leave Hooters at 8pm for Midnight Madness, and seeing as how the local meets dont usually start till after 10pm, we would just be sitting around scratching our heads from 8-10pm soo.....

One of the members off the 3000gt forums came up with a great idea. Instead of just having the meet at Hooters, why not make it a full day event and Hit up the New Braunfels water park, Schlitterbahn as well (which is a HUGE waterpark).
Schlitterbahn is open from 10am-7pm
General Admissions is $37.99
We could push the Hooters meet to 6 or 7pm and meet at Schlitterbahn in the morning. Now i know alot of out of town people are already stretching their dollars so theres also the idea of Tubing!Which is ALOT cheaper and in the same area. I believe tube rentals are about $5-$10 a tube.

If you guys think this is a good idea, give me some feedback so i can make a final decision. New Braunfels is about 20 Min away from the Hooters Meet and from those coming in from Houston/Dallas, it would be on the way

Ok guys for those who wanna come join a few of us for Tubing in the morning, were going to meet at

A Bowling Alley right off of exit 186 in New Braunfels. It's right across the street from a fellow Mitsu Owner's apartment complex, so anyone that needs to change or go to the bathroom can use his apartment. It's also a good safe place to leave cars if anyone is carpooling.

From the north,
take 35 south to Exit 186 Walnut Ave.
As soon as you get off the exit get over in the right lane.
Turn right onto Huisache Ave. (Just before the U-Haul)
The bowling alley is on the left.

From the south,
take 35 north to Exit 186 Walnut Ave.
Take a left at the light onto Walnut.
Then take a right at your second light (can't take a right at the first one anyways.)
Turn right onto Huisache (you should see the sign for the bowling alley).
Bowling alley will be on your right.

no no no i was meaning by galants, there were a lot of cars eclipse, evos, etc. i had posted photos of it on here but i cant find them i think the thread got erased, but thinking this being the first MOD for Texas, i would think the g family would show as well. it was fun, i would go again, i meant by being better by more galants showing up. it was a good turn out..

Im not sure the guy that runs these is DSM_BOY and a other guy, but i dont see him around anymore, nor seem him online. but i'll keep a eye out for him, if i see him i'll ask. I use to run into him at the car gatherings on Saturday nights but i myself havent been out and if i am out i dont see him.

But i do remember him saying that there will be another one for the 09'. I just dont know when.

If our team votes on HIN then me, g-spot, and jscout24/7 will be in the show, so the day of the show people that are going to the be in the meet can show up anytime of the day on the 11th. but once the show is over we'll be going out to eat togather. Sunday the 12th is when we will be doing the meet BBQ, hanging out, working on the cars (if wanted), and photo shoot.
