So the TGCIL meet is going to take place on Sept. 21, 2008 @ Foster Beach in Chicago from 12-4pm.


It's kind of difficult finding an actual address to the place, seeing as it's a small piece of a park, but...

Basically, get onto Lake Shore Drive and Exit @ FOSTER AVE.

If you're coming from the north on LSD: you turn Left onto Foster
If you're coming from the south on LSD: you turn Right onto Foster
Basically, turn towards the lake.
(FYI: FOSTER Ave becomes SIMONDS Dr.)

**KEEP IN MIND**
As you enter the drive, there is a parking lot immediately on the left. This is where we will meet.
HOWEVER, if it happens to be a packed day, and we cannot fit all the cars together, keep following down Simonds, and we will convene at the next available space.

If anyone thinks they may have trouble getting there, gets confused with Chicago, or just wants extra security, PM me and I'll give you my cell #.

Hmm, I could do this if I really wanted to, now if you guys had a meet in October, I could actually make it, because I get a whole week off school. Hmm, gotta see what kinda homework load I have the closer it gets, I might actually be able to make it. I want to meet you guys. We need to have a TGC national meet right in the middle of the country somewhere.

out on the east coast, the tail of the dragon, that would be worth taking a couple days vacation to drive out there with a big group of people, oh man, we'd mix it up with the miata clubs, and the viper clubs, and I kid you not, I've seen pics, the honda element club that regularly drives the dragon. Sorry to jack this thread, jigz, you should start a thread on a national meet, so we can throw some ideas around.

btw, everyone feel free to buy hotdogs, burgers, buns, soda, etc. I will supply the mini grill and some of the stuff to cook too. remember no alcohol, I'm pretty sure they are prohibited in that area.

Yeah, definitely.
Aside from personal request, NO ALCOHOL can be present on Chicago Park District property. Police are very present, so just keep it legit. You will be ticketed a hefty fine as well as jeprodize the rest of the crew.
Also, I doubt I need to make the request, but No dumb-ass antics either.

This was a success! Da Everyone that came out thank you! it was an awesome time. Jon, Dave, and Eric, you guys missed a hell of a time, Patrick and Kevin showed us a pretty good time after you guys left. We went like 6 deep into the city exhausts blazin' with patrick leading the way in the EVO and we blocked a street of traffic for a good 10 mins waiting for drinks. Then we went to this rock place by the lake. Potential meet place possibly?
