I found these at Depoautolights.com
They say that they are OEM JDM and they say they there is no wiring need just PLUG AND PLAY. Does any one have experience with them. Your thoughts

Have you searched the forums and found out that these won't fit your car without some modification? That you will have gaps around the grill? That you need to wire up the highs and lows yourself? Nothing is plug and play.

Actually Pete, from looking at the pics posted, these depo projectors look like they actually might be plug and play electrical wise. not sure though. Nonetheless jvilla, you will need to cut the radiator support and get a jdm grille.

The modification needed to the radiator support is whats stopping me to go JDM.

just remember u will have to rewire the rears as well, cuz JDM tails are 4 bulb whereas USDM tails are 3 bulb

and there are the 3rd gens

both in which need modification to the taillight housing and splicing in of wires.

you could get away with using 3 bulbs but you will have a part of the lens that doesn't have function.

If you have 3rd gens you have to modify the wire harness to get things to sit flush like OE. The through placement for the USDM wiring is off center from what the JDM Galants have. At least thats the issue I had with my Amber 3rd gens. I suspect all 3rd gens are the same way.

See my sig for pictures of the amber 3rd gens.

Btw, I would suggest that when anyone does this you buy an extra wire harness and just simply splice to the JDMs using the already existing JDM bulbs. You don't need to modify the housing to accept any other type of bulb, all bulb types can be bought at your local auto parts supplier, or at the least Ebay.

If you want a different set of headlights, try blacking out your headlights and getting swtichbacks. I'm selling a set of blacked out headlights.

Its really not that bad. Just cutting out a few inches of extra metal. Hell, call it weight reduction for going faster if you want haha! :)

Well, that or modify the headlight itself.
