Hey everyone, I always thought the gills on the grille for the 8g's looked ugly so ive decided to take em out. I searched around for a few hours trying to find the answers to my questions but no luck so i figured id ask. I was wondering what tools to use to remove these gills without damaging the grille itself to much, and I dont plan on painting it (yet at least) so after the gills are gone do i just rub some steel putty over the marks left behind and im good to go? Sorry if this all seems like common sense to some people, id just rather cover all my bases before i have to go and order a new grille.. Thanks!

Dremel to cut the fins, then sand them down with a file and then apply bondo and sand some more until smooth and cant see the location where the fins were. Primer, paint and your done.
