valve cover bolts

anyone know what the minor diameter of the valve cover bolts is? thats the diameter of the threaded section of the bolt. i just need to find out what size tap i need to get. i figure it's around 5-6mm. any help would be appreciated.

the bolts have a 6mm root diatmeter with a 1mm pitch. i had to take a bolt out of my engine, run into the hardware store, get the bolts, then run back out and screw it back in, but hey. it worked https://www.thegalantcenter.org/style_emoticons/default/smile.gif
