If you were a part of the group buy with 305/Jesus or if you purchased other items from him that it appears you will not be receieving add your name to this list. The group buy thread is long and extensive, but I wanted a thread where we can get everyone together. From the total cost of what he scammed from us, I believe that by coming together and pursuing legal action is our best bet.

Also, if anyone has connections in Miami that we may be able to use at our disposal, post up here. We can collaberate and figure out how best to approach this.

This is a felony and the person who made this group buy should go to jail and make restitution. Without filing a claim you cant begin to start the process of getting your money back.

I was thinking when Jesus mentioned he only had 3 sets of fender flares how many people here actually bought fender flares? I bought a set.

i can see that about 8 sets might have been sold considering how much money everyone gave. If this is the case we got hustled badly. some of the members like Dave who done business with him in the past had no problem and he waited for the right time to take everyone's money.

when I asked him about the flares he mentioned the 200 dollar one with no scratches then he offered me the 130 set and started to say I need to act fast cause someone else wanted it as well. If it wasnt for a balance on my paypal account from my paintball stuff I sold I problably would not have asked but I suckered myself into it.

The second time the Grandmother picked up and said he wasn't home so my Dad asked for his cellphone number. The Grandmother responded and said that she has no such number and asked why he needed to talk to Jesus. My dad told her that it was very important that he needed to speak with him and the Grandmother denied anything. From this my dad told me:

What is the phone number? We need to get an address and print this and send it to the local FBI office in Miami. Soemone needs to spearhead this who got scammed to contact the FBI. They will pick him up quick espeically since we know the aunt and grandmother are there. They will have to give him up or they will go to jail also. Making phone calls and filing claims with paypal arent going to cut it. Most likely he has drained his paypal account so unless there is money in his paypal account, you are getting nothing back. Jail and restitution is the only course we can take. He can join Ballin8G in prison for fraud.

Filing a claim will take months and not much will come of it. You guys need to get in contact with the Miami PD an also the FBI, Fraud division. Give them whatever numbers and addresses you have and one of you stay in contact with the PD to find out what is going on. This is a very serious matter and time is of an essence. Stop waiting for him to do good, I know it's hard to believe that someone just burned you but snap out of it and lets get this douche bag.

The more complaints we have the better chance of getting our money back through the courts. Please take the two minutes and fill out the form. My suggestion is to take action with paypal but also contact the FBI office so we can get the Group Buy originator picked up and have some questions answered. if someone does speak to an agent who will take all the info please post it up so we have one contact at the Miami FBI office who can handle this case. I would do this but they will not do anything since I was not in this group buy. Good luck to everyone and sorry that you all had to deal with this.

I also received a call back from the Miami branch of the FBI, they said that we need to file a claim through the link I provided above, and then once that is processed it will be forwarded to the local branches of the FBI. I asked the agent how long this would take, and she said the turnaround time for the online claims is usually 1-2 days, but if they receive more claims on a single topic then the priority rises, therefore I strongly encourage all of you who were scammed to file one.

I got screwed with an egr visor I bought, I paid the guy a week before I left on a two week trip to russia, and he said it would be waiting for me when I got home. It didn't show for nearly a month and a half, by which point I filed a claim through paypal and got my 100 bucks back. Then lo and behold it showed up one day, and a box that looked like someone had taken a saw to it. It took paypal nearly 20 days to give me my money back.

That's exactly what I did Stewi.

I even filed a claim before calling my credit card company and paypal just sent me one of those automated responses saying that my claim was recieved.

As soon as I called my credit card company and filed for fraudulent transaction, they sent a claim to paypal and they immediately responded by saying that they were looking into it.

Best bet is for those that used Credit card is try a chargeback. The best Credit card for this by far is Amex. If you have a Amex always try yo use it for Internet purchases or hopefully some did with this mess.

i havent filed with the FBI yet but i did file out a revocation form with my bank that got denied since thy cannot revocate paypal's transactions then i went ahead and filed an unauthorized transaction form which should get me my money back in 2 business days which will put my paypal in the negative balance which means i will lose all my privileges to it even though i had it for 5 years

as far as paypal going to collection i dont think they do since they dont have your social your security number and also i have a friend of mine who had the same problem and left the account alone and 2 years later he went and opened up another one with his name but different address and different bank account and he didnt have any problems

we should really be trying to get the local police involved as well, as they deal with crimes of this amount much more seriously than the fbi

the small claims court is a good idea, you cant put a lien on his house cuz of homestead laws. as far as small claims court it would work if we do it individually cuz the limit is around 2k so if we do it as a group it would have to be through the superior court system

What I would do is write up an email. Be very factual about it. Expressive about your hardship since this has happened. This is your hard earned money that was in a sence stolen from you. You guys had to make sacrafices and put in trust to a user who passed himself as trustworthy and now you are being scammed twice with paypal and no help from the FBI. So who can the average Joe the Plumber turn too (lol)?

Send that email out to all the local news agencies to where ever he lives. Internet crime is up... you see it in the news all the time. You are bound to find one reporter who thinks this is worth a story. FBI won't help, Paypal won't help, and you guys are out seven thousand dollars.

Another thing I would do is contact all local web sites near him. Let them know your guys story. Let them know to beware this guy. He is a scam artist. Shit let the whole internet forums know... he may have also done this to other people... I am sure he didn't only sell HID's to only Galant owners. There maybe more victims out there or even potential victims.

File a claim with Paypal if that is what you used. Theoreticly (sp?), their legal team would go after him for the money. If they're no help, try disputing the charge with the bank or credit card company the funds came from.
Unfortunately, we have a pretty sorry legal system. So the athorities, any branch of them, are not likely to help. They'll accept the report if you file one. But, being it's a realitively small amount (Even all together, 7k+ is still realitively small.), and there has been no physical harm to anyone, accepting a report is all they'll do. They have bigger fish to fry, as the saying goes.
I hope it turns out well for all of you. But yall might end up just having to eat this one. That, or about 30 TGC members could show up at his house one morning to have a "chat" with him. :)

I am still trying to get resolution from PayPal. If not, I am going to take it to "7 on your side." In my opinion, PayPal should have been a safe buffer for all of us, as they are a larger commercial operation - but they have failed pretty much in that respect. PayPal should really honor our refunds as they tout that they are "safe."

PayPal is really not a "pal" they have a well written fine print, if translated says: even if the claim is in your favor we cannot guarantee money back. I filed a claim about this scam, now it is closed. So i called them up to clear things up. and the agent said: in our system the case is still open, so we will be "trying" to get your money back to you. and there's no updates or status unless they actually get your money. Which could last your lifetime your childrens lifetime and their children lifetime. And when asked what can i do the agent kinda half-ass suggested to chargeback with the card, but then again that will put your account in the negative, eventually in the collection and if you ever gave them your SS then it goes on your credit history. I still have them sending me collection letters from 5 years ago. They are very misleading when it comes to "Buyers Protection"

you might run the risk of the unauthorized payment claim with the bank turn around on you, cause if you paid through PayPal and the paypal account is registered on the same name as your bank account where you filed the claim, then they may not approve it. and take out the money they returned. if the bank told you they will place the temporary funds on your balance

sorry to bring this post back up, i just came across this post and wanted to know about this, If i think i know who is doing the scamming i know exactly where this person lives lol hes 1 block away from my gf's house.....
On the ( galants.org ) website he went by the name ( 3058G ) or something like that he used to hang out with censee alot?, He also had a gold color galant on black rims with a black/carbon fiber hood?

4 years later no one wants to pursue this. I got my money back. Some people aren't even active. I believe his name was Jesus but I could be wrong. No point of going by his place unless others want to go after him again.
