So I'm looking to give the old interior a little life. I have an 01 LS (wood grain dash, grey leather, & grey everything) I want to up grad to the carbon fiber but the factory kit is alot of cash and those stick on dash kits suck.... Anyway I have seen a couple of rides that use carbon fiber sheet of vinyl.. What do you guys think????

Also I was looking a replacing the shift knob to the "Crus" from Ichibahn... Will this fit??

i can wrap ur trim with the vinyl sheets. the one big problem i do see is the design of the carbon fiber. the design of the carbon fiber can look fake. so thats something u might wanna think of.

as for the shift knob. its called the "cruz" lol. http://www.carxccessory.com/carxccessory/u...sa-1110800.html ('http://www.carxccessory.com/carxccessory/usa-1110800.html') i was looking at it on club 3g and it looks really nice. i've seen it on a 3g eclipse and it fits so chances are its gonna fit the galant too. but only one way to try, and thats to put it on

i say go with the vynil CF ..its no big deal that it vynil, just make sure u put it on right.with some soapy water.......with no bubbles......in my opinion ,the CF vynil would look waay better than those cheap overlays......

I don't know, they do make overlays made of real carbon fiber which look better than the fake vinyl. The thing is, they are usually pretty pricey.

The problem I had when I tried to wrap my trim with vinyl was getting it around the curves without stretching it. This going to be especially important if you go with a CF pattern.
