Service engine reset

So the wife decided to fuel up the car and not tighten the cap down, How do you reset the service engine light?

It is a 2006 Galant GTS

go to autozone and erase the code using the codereader
or disconnect ur battery for 10-15 min

Cool I did not know if there was a trick like some other cars do. Autozone won't reset the codes anymore so I will disconnect the battery....

maybe urs wont, i just erased a code yesterday....

you can erase it with a procedure of pressing buttons and ignition key sequences.
