Does anyone know if I should take off the chrome housing piece on this bulb. It covers the backside and the top hopefully pic's do justice?

Its there to prevent light from directly hitting the High beam section of the parabolic lens.
in an effort to reduce glare.

Thats probably the best glare sheild I've seen.

What brand / where did you purchase your HID's?

i have the same glare shields on the ebay ones that i got, thy don't worn nemore tho but the glare shield can easily be taken off.

BI-XENON CONVERSION KIT I got them at omnixautosports.com thaey were expensive but easy hook up and work good so far.
