View Full Version : Could somebody let me "borrow" their VIN to get correct parts from Mitsu?

I have a cali spec V6, but am changing it to a fed-spec (one CAT instead of three)

Does anyone have a 2000 V6 Galant fed spec who could borrow me their VIN.

This is only to buy the correct parts (need gaskets that go between the manifold and downpipe). I would delete the information right away.

go to a junkyard and copy one. :)

Problem with that is, mitsu build both , fed and cali spec. i would need a closeup of the engine to verify that it only has one cat, not three.

thanks, that helped.... so dumb to have everything work over the VIN only.

So you're heading out east huh, just dont like the weather here, right :)

Yeah, I'm trading the cold and wet for 140 degree summers (and humid!)

Make sure to get a lot of sun screen.

Are you still working around the triangular plaza?

Got a reply. here is the info for anyone who might be interested.

MR266545 EXHAUST MANIFOLD GASKET $6.83 EACH X 2

MR323619 MANIFOLD TO PIPE GASKET $3.33 EACH X 2

MR323618 CAT. TO MUFFLERT $5.04
