Just wondering if the 2.4 out of the spyder 1999 is the same as 1999 galant 2.4?

the one im buy has a lot of miles and my boy has a '99 2.4 spyder manual so I wanted to do the swap and was wondering if i could use the motor and trans since his had a rebuild and I'm getting it for free :(

You can use it, you want to weld up 4 custom mounts, custom axles, and rewire the car. If you looked at his motor, then looked at yours, you wouldnt understand why. For a direct swap, you need a 2000-2005 Eclipse 2.4L 4g64.
