Have put on my front strut bar without probs - it was the easiest upgrade I have ever made.

Now I have to put on the rear and that raises a couple of questions...

Those of you that have done this on a 7G - have you had to cut out a piece of the plate between the trunk and the rear tower? or is there some obvious easy way to it that I have missed?

Just don't want to cut to many holes in my car if I don't have to....

If you have a sedan there is no need to install a rear strut bar as the rear seat backing/rear speaker deck lid acts as a brace between the shock tower points.

if you install it you have a gap between the seat the trunk area.

Post some pics of the progress

to install it onto a sedan you have to cut quite a bit of metal....

and that metal is structural it holds the strut tower to the metal framework on your speaker panel that's made to stiffen the rear of the car from the get go.

so......I'd just sell it back out if I were you.

Will have a look at it - if I have to cut the car up bad I won't do it - of course...
The way I'm driving it wouldn't really make sence to make the car structually weaker anywhere 8)
Might re-enforce it if necessary... will post some pics if I go through with it...
Thanks for the feedback.

i wouldn't bother, get your couple bucks back and keep it as gas money. if you don't have a rear sway bar already you're a fool for not dropping this immediately and pursuing driving perfection....
