Hey, i got this e-mail back from e-racing.com. I sent them a message asking if they had the kits at the following link in Urethane. http://www.eracings.com/catalog/default.ph...?cPath=21_30_85 ('http://www.eracings.com/catalog/default.php?cPath=21_30_85') Let me know what you think about it. I'll be responding to it later this week. Thanks.

Hello,

I have those kit in stock..and they are made of fiberglass. I'm in the
process of making the Poly Urethane for the NMS Type body kit in a full kit.
What do you think?? I'm trying to make a bumper that will fit 99-03...with
additional grill.... please I need your input and also what are your
interest as far as body kit or accessories for galant???

Thanks,
JOhn

post what you would think if they made this happen for us and what you would like to see in the future. I mean, a US Urethane kit.... it dosn't get sweeter than that!

If they come out with the Urethane Kit I will go ahead and swap out my front but because my sides and rear are molded I will have to keep them Fiberglass. Would be nice to have it for the front However it will be a very large peice of Urethane. It will flex at high speeds and that is what kinda worries me. Most urethane kits I know or are Ad ons or Lips. With the way that one fits on the front there will have to be alot more mounting points than the 4 that are on it now.

Perhaps I should test it out Allan. I've managed to "DSM8" 2 out of the 3 Kits offered in the states already. I could Use a Urethane Kit though.

the urethane front you're talking about laz (the one you and i have) does indeed exsist but a word of warning. this bumper was orginally made for JDM galants and THERE ARE GAPS, even with JDM headlights. i really highly doubt that this bumper was fitted to a US spec galant so there will be crazy gaps and you wont be able to fill them in since fiberglass will not adhere to urethane. other wise, i would love to get it to.

Hey man, I'd love to get that Intial V kit in urethane or fiberglass, as long as it fits the US version so I can still make use of the front and rear impact bars. Also if your looking for additional input on this kit, of and other kit that they could produce, I suggest that they make some Galant specific bolt on fender flares and perhaps also some wide body door skins. Also as far as other kit ideas, I wouldn't mind seeing an Octane kit for the 8G and some different hoods like a ram air.

for the front end, the initial V or the cruz body kit will never fit the front like it looks while keeping the impact bars...the impart bars are too tall

i wasnt trying to say it couldnt be done...all i was saying that there are already intial v fronts made of urethane. as far as the impact bar staying....there is no way it will fit without completely changing the bumper and making it look ugly.

WHY DONT ALL OF YOU GO HERE...

http://www.clubtgc.org/forum/viewtopic.php?t=11688 ('http://www.clubtgc.org/forum/viewtopic.php?t=11688')

WE ARE ALREADY IN THE PROCESS OF A GROUP BUY ON A DIRECT U.S. BOLT INITIAL V KIT, AND JUST NEED TO FILL THE REMAINING SPOTS TO GET IT STARTED.

NOTE: IT IS NOT A URETHANE KIT. THE COST OF A URETHANE KIT COMPARED TO A FIBERGLASS KIT IS BETWEEN $200-500. FOR SOME THAT MAY NOT BE MUCH, BUT FOR OTHERS IT IS A GREAT DEAL. IF YOU REALLY THINK YOU ARE GONNA GET URETHANE KIT FROM ERACING.COM, THEN BE MY GUEST AND DISREGARD THIS POST.

they are not urethane kits from e-racing, and they are not direct bolt on. the kit thats sitting in my living room right now was bought from eracings/speedzconcept (whatever you want to call it ). ITS FIBERGLASS!!

the kit being made in the GB is also fiberglass, but it will be a direct bolt on, meaning you can do it at home rather than taking it in to a shop who is ganna charge your $1,000 + the price to get it painted. I would recomend the GB, but thats just my opinion, and I honestly do not see eracing/speedz concept making a poly kit, or any kit that will be a direct bolt on in the near future.
