What is the difference between the Erebuni #651hoodcf and the #113hoodcf? they look the same and cost the same?

The CF hoods currently out there are not made for the US spec Galant. They are made for the JDM Galant. They fit a little weired. If you are willing to wait there is a GB going on in the GB section that is supposed to be developed for the US spec Galant and will not have all the problems that we had with the VIS hood.

a warning about the erebuni hoods:

they are made to fit the jdm spec galants so there will be gaps and u'll have fitment issues. u wont be able to just remove your regular hood and bolt on the erebuni, u'll have to take it to a shop to get it properly fitted

Can anyone who has an Erebuni hood tell me just exactly what gaps there are and what adjustments need to be made for proper fitment? Thanks in advance!

personally i think that gap looks really nasty, outlawzcc has some pics of the vis hood on his car at better angles and u can really see the gap.

what i see is the hood not closing down all the way, its like 1/4 of an inch raised above where it suppose to sit, like when you pop open the hood, and its sitting on the latch where u can slide your fingers down to press on the safety latch thingy under the hood

to me it gives it a kind of a flimsy, "its about to fly off at any time" look

just my opinions https://www.thegalantcenter.org/style_emoticons/default/smile.gif

Those pictures of the Galant there is missing the weather strip. That will take care of the gap between the headlights and the hood. Here is the link to my Yahoo. Don't mind the cracks. That was because of shipping but there are photos that show the gapping issues.

I do have pictures but i have no clue on how to put them online, as far as what i got into my galant its not all that much, but what i have costs alot of cash. Hell the audio/video and the wheels is about six grand right there, add the basic bolt on stuff, exhaust, suspesion, and other stuff it's more like eight or nine grand into the car.

So what do you have..

You must have a tight ass stereo setup.. if you spent $6000 on rims and stereo/video..

Email me the pics and I'll host them..

If you think about it... cf is a lil bit more expensive.. but when you buy the fiberglass one.. you have to pay to get it painted! so your price goes up on that one too!
