Shifter lube?

recently finished my manual swap, but it seems like i'm forever having a rough time with finding the right lube for my short shifter. At one point I sprayed the center shifter console with WD40 and its shifted smoothe as FWCK!! but eventually that smootheness keeps wearing off.

What do u guys use?

Permatex white lithium grease.

Yeah use white lithium grease. That shit is slippy as hell and will stick around for a good long time.

unfortunately i already tried that, but it didn't last that long. maybe 1 1/2days. >:*(

what??? how is that possible?? Today after not driving or touching my car for a month i decided to go for a joyride, and everything feels and shifts the way did back when i installed it. No trouble at all. 1 finger action.
