There are rules for selling items on TGC, please follow them.

Selling/Trading Rules
* New members must have atleast a minimum of 50 contributing posts. Not only must have you have 50 contributing posts but you must be a member of TGC for 30 days.
* Sales of firearms is strictly prohibited.
* Only 1 thread for multiple items. Instead of using multiple threads for different items for sale no matter what the items are.
* Do not bump your threads. It isn't fair to others who are selling items.
* Post an asking price! Don't just state "make me an offer". Mention if the price is firm or flexible. This includes no testing interest threads.
* If you are selling a product please refrain from outlandish comments and keep the thread civil.
* Use discriptive titles for your thread. Such as:
"FS: 99-01 Lowering Springs"
"Parting Out: 1995 Galant S"
"WTB: 8g JDM Corner"
* Post shipping/local pickup information. State whether or not you will ship the item FS/Trade. If you are offering local pickup include your city and state.
* Post recent pictures of the product(s) that you are selling. Your TGC Username and the date you post the items for sale must be on a piece of paper in the picture of the item(s). If you don't have a camera then buy or borrow one. This rule may be waived if approved by a Moderator.
* If the product has damage of any kind your buyer must know or be aware of it. Provide pictures of the damaged areas.
* Provide as much detailed info about the product as you can. Whether it be product availiblity, price, shipping info, pictures, wear, how long was it on the car? Basically any pertinent info about your sale.
* After the sale has been completed please post that the Item has been sold in the Topic Title.
* Buyer and Seller must both be clear on the transaction process. This includes on behalf of the seller: Condition of product and method of shipping. On behalf of the buyer: Prompt payment, understanding and agreement of method of shipping and condition of product(s) being purchased.

These rules need to be updated, because when you sale an item, it should go into the For Sale forum, not the General Post section. I understand you're probably just getting a feel for any interested buyers, but you can do that in the For Sale forum - and please be sure to post a picture, with your TGC username and date. Thank you.
