still called a lancer here never seen it badged as a galant anywhere...good old mitsi making it hard for everyone again

Same over here. I think its only called that in Japan.

The Lancer in USA is called the Galant Fortis in Japan. It might be called Lancer in other countries also. The only Lancer in Japan is now the EVO.
